For over 100 years, PPC Zimbabwe has produced cement for many of Zimbabwe’s most famous monuments such as Victoria Falls, Kariba Dam, Harare International Airport, the NRZ Building, Lake Mutirikwi and many development projects.
As a resident producer cement company PPC is proud to be contributing positively to the people of Zimbabwe through employment, enterprise development and community support and have prevailed as a leading manufacturer in Zimbabwe since its inception more than a century ago.
Today, out of their good will to perpetuate unfathomable support for communities, they carried out a cleanup campaign at Ruvheneko Primary School in the Ruwa District, an evolving school that lacks in hygiene facilities.
The school has no litter bins and no first aid services and for the longest time, this has placed pupils at a detriment.
Dubbed #StrengthInSafety, the cleanup exercise was carried out by 40 Grade six pupils.
In a gesture to maintain sanitation and ensure safety, PPC donated large trash bins and first aid kits to the school.
Pupils were left with smiles on their faces upon receiving the charities and have pledged to take good care of their school to retain the aura of hygiene. Here are some pictures were taken during the campaign.
