Following the announcement of the 2023 NAMA Awards nominees yesterday, NAMA today revealed the hosts for the show.
The hosts of the 21st annual National Arts Merit Awards (NAMA) will be Godfrey ‘Chief’ Koti, Gemma Griffiths, and Charlene Mangweni-Furusa.
Godfrey ‘Chief’ Koti is a seasoned Radio, TV broadcaster and events host. He is currently the Head of Corporate Affairs at The Zimbabwe Tourism Authority.
Gemma Griffiths is a multitalented singer / songwriter who has taken Zimbabwe by storm with her award winning music and vibrant sound. At NAMA 21, she makes her on-screen debut as co-host of the biggest awards show in Zimbabwe.
Charlene Furusa, is an award-winning actress, voice over artist, and media personality. She returns to NAMA as the voice announcer for the third year running.
This year’s edition of the NAMA will be hosted on the 25TH of February 2023 by the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe and event managers Jacaranda Culture and Media Corporation (JCMC) at the Harare International Conference Centre. The event will run under the theme, Unlocking Dreams, which represents the coming of age of Zimbabwe’s most prestigious awards ceremony.
