Rising electronic music DJ, TAPIWA, has announced the launch of his own record label, with the name Musha. The homegrown music label is set to be one built by artists for artists.
As it’s name states, Musha – “home” in English – is going to be a place where upcoming talent can start, grow and thrive in a supportive community that puts artists first. The driving force of project being the creation of a home, for the future of not only Zimbabwe’s but Africa’s sound.

TAPIWA is an easily recognisable name on the Zimbabwean electronic music scene. The DJ has performed at events such as Carpe Diem, AfroBeyond, Hidden Culture’s Deep End, Samuel Cosmic’s Roots and KAOS.
His singles “Within Me” and “Dancehall” received national radio support on BBC Radio 1Xtra in the UK, 5FM in South Africa, and notable and continued DJ support from Bob Sinclar and Lost Frequencies.
