Last year we had Ke December and this year I can safely say the 2016 end of year theme-song could very well be ‘Summer Fever’ which I have personally renamed to ‘Ki Summer‘ because…it’s a catchier name right?!
I don’t have Summer Fever just because it has all the makings of an Afro House hit song, it’s the age of the creators and upcoming Bulawayo based Dj Rayz noChris who especially have me hooked.
The pair are clearly influenced by the Afrotainment streak, which isn’t a bad thing. They both Producer, Compose and Write mainly Deep and Commercial House. Performing in their hometown Bulawayo at local clubs and events.
Real names Rrebatho Ncube and Chris Zenzo Bokile Nyathi, the two are just under 20 years old and ridiculously talented and this is clear in their first collaboration. See, Dj Rayz and Chris meet through a mutual friend, dug each other’s music and decided to collaborate on their first House Single called Summer Fever featuring Mzoe 7, yeah, literally just like that.
“We are both passionate and zealous young men…” Enthused Dj Rayz, “our connection will prove to be both effective and effective” he said.
The young duo is working on an upcoming Collaborative Album and a clothing line titled IntwaneZifresh.
