After several days of debate and patience Kapital K finally gave us what we all been waiting for. Kap dropped a video on all his socials telling people that he was on the verge of changing his name. But we all knew that it was not happening in any ordinary way. He ran a competition on Facebook to see which one or five of his fans knew him well enough to guess what his new rap or stage name was going to be from a list of 12 names Lil Uzi Kap being one of them ( bizarre!) and the winners were to win his elephant totem branded t-shirts.
In the early hours of the 26th of May, Armageddon did not start but Kapital K changed his named to KAPCITY in a killer freestyle were he also dropped some of the names of the winners of the competition ran on Facebook, sadly mine excluded LOL! Re-branding is very necessary for artists or any type of art or business and this undoubtedly changed a lot, not only in the Zim Hip hop circles where dudes should be shivering right now, but the hip hop fraternity as a whole ( word to Diddy )
