The Lyric Theatre is set to be a time capsule to the 80s and 90s as Intotal Band’s Legends Night is heads to South Africa for the first time ever.

Set for Sunday the 7th of December, the concert is being hosted by events organiser KJB Productions. The Johannesburg concert will be the 5th destination that Intotal Band has taken the concert to, after editions in Harare, Kadoma, Bulawayo and Belfast in Northern Ireland.

Legends Night is an annual celebration of Zimbabwean music excellence, honouring artists of the past that left a mark on the country’s music scene. Intotal Band turns back in not just the music but the fashion and even the hairstyles the band has on the night.

The concert had its biggest moment in April, when it sold out the HICC and treated the audience to a 4 hour fiesta of hits such as Special Meat (Calisto Nyamhute), Tsaona (Pengaudzoke), Mabhauwa (Khiama Boys), Nemumvura Mese (Tongai Moyo), Rudo Imoto (Marshal Munhumumwe), and Chitekete (Leornard Dembo).

Tickets for the Johannesburg Legends Night are on sale now via Ticket Tailor.
