The preparation of the iBumba festival is underway and after a lost year, the feast promises to bring the heat for all fashion lovers. The Hunnar Agency the brain behind the feast has already started organizing and bringing together fashion gurus (10 Outstanding Designers) from around Zimbabwe and the SADC Region. The fashion gala is set for 17 December at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe in the City of Kings and Queens (Bulawayo).
The fashion fete will premier ten mind-blowing designers that have been working hard throughout the year. These are inclusive of promising up comer Uruta & Bakhar, South African Menswear Week KiddHunta & Ara Kanu, Tapfumane Munenge , Yvette Ndaba, Zargue’ Sia & Chenna Nenni and Nkanyeziyethu Mlunga of Ganu. A special feature by the Bulawayo Polytechnic fashion students will round up the designers for festival displaying a collaborated collection in the development workshop. The products from the workshop will be displayed at the iFashion Fest. What spectacular thing to look up to right?
For all fashion lovers and those that are not, the iBumba fest is the place to be. It will be going down at the National Gallery in Bulawayo on 17 December from 6pm. Regular entry fee is $5 only to experience this spectacular event and to get a better view in the front row it is $7.
