Ezekiel 36:26 reads,
“A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the STONY HEART out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.”
The above passage speaks of a heart of flesh, in contrast with one of stone. There is a quality about the masculine figure that is tied to a hard heart. The male gender is not easily bruised or affectionate as his female counterpart. The heart of stone does not have the ability to carry seed to a term like the heart of flesh, which is that of the bride.
The Bible, in Matthew 13, speaks of seed that fell upon stony places, and ultimately withered away. Beloved, it is time for the Church to arise in the revelation of Grace…Grace that takes the heart of flesh- that same heart culture of a bride- to receive. A bride is one that cannot say I have done this because of my great faith. She is one that disappears in her husband. Her name is not known but she carries his name. It is no longer about making a name for self, but carrying the name of Jesus.
It is, therefore, my prayer for you this morning, that you would dissolve in the person of the bridegroom. That you would carry his name and nature daily!
