Grammy-nominated Lazarusman & Jason le Roux set for Deep End

Lazarusman is a South African Poet, DJ and Writer who finds his vocals and creative contributions on a number of Techno, Deep House and EDM tracks from Joburg to Frankfurt. This may explain how he played the muse to Booka Shade‘s ‘Dear Future Self’. A poem by Lazarusman was so good, the German duo named their Album after it and used his vocals in the lead single titled, well, ‘Dear Future Self. The output of this feverish collabo was a 2022 Grammy Award nomination in the Best Immersive Audio Album category.

This Monday on the eve of Robert Mugabe Youth Day; Zimbabwean events collective Hidden Culture hosts Lazarusman for this month’s Deep End; an equally immersive dance experience in the heart of Harare. The line-up includes the homegrown and dextrous DJ; Jason le Roux.
