IN T-minus three days and counting, Victoria Falls-based Afro-Fusion band Flying Bantu launches their latest single “Make Me High”.

In a communiqué to the press, the ensemble said the song is a tribute to all the colourful personalities in the music and entertainment industry the world over – the fans, the DJ’s, the managers, the festivals, venues, promoters, every security guard and barman. It is dedicated to all the people who make other people’s dreams come true, they said.

Produced by Dean Bailey and featuring Adrian Fowler on percussion, “Make Me High” was recorded at an underground studio in Cape Town, South Africa, and it expresses a new and dynamic sound while remaining true to the band’s musical signature.

After the release of their debut album “Ceasefire”, the band has been experimenting with different sounds; which “Make Me High” seeks to express.

Along with many other artists across the world, Flying Bantu has had to creatively navigate some hard turns during this curveball of a year.

Through a collaboration with the Global Movement Tribe, the band will release the single with a colourful lyric video for online release.

The single will be released this Friday the 18th of December 2020, across all major music streaming and social media platforms.
