A Zimbabwe Partnership for Prosperity (ZIPP) apologist and a cleric by the name of Pastor Netanyahu has claimed that the tropical cyclone Idai that hit Mozambique, Malawi, and Zimbabwe was God speaking through nature.

Writing in a piece entitled “Stay Close To The Lion,” the little known pastor also avouched that God formed the youthful political party (ZIPP) and that its leader  Dr. Blessing Kasiyamhuru is led by the spiritual intelligence.

We publish the full piece below:

It has been 2 years and 4 months since Zimbabwe Partnership for Prosperity (ZIPP) was formed. A lot of people are wondering what has happened to the God-fearing movement that came with so much potential to win elections giving hope to the people of prosperity and posterity. We continue to see many people desiring to see an alternative and asking questions on what ZIPP is currently doing. The writer will briefly share what is the partnership currently doing.

ZIPP believes God formed ZIPP and Professor Kasiyamhuru is led by spiritual intelligence. God’s Spirit is directing him on what to do next. It has been witnessed in history that God is the one who ordains kings and rejects kings. It has been witnessed again that He rewards those who stick with his plan and move by faith. Perhaps, partners will wonder how is this God going to mix religion and politics. Aren’t men of God supposed to be neutral! Well, the response is so simple. God is himself the greatest politician. He is the king of kings and Lord of lords. He is the lion of Judah.

Now the Lion of Judah, the Son of David has a plan for Zimbabwe. Professor Kasiyamhuru revealed that a star of David at one time stood shining over the nation of Zimbabwe. It is that star you see on the logo of ZIPP. Having 7 points on it speaks of God in man, for the star of man is 6 pointed and when God tabernacles in flesh it becomes 7 pointed.

ZIPP partners who follow the professor are now engaged in much prayer. They do not cease day and night to pray for the Nation of Zimbabwe. It is clear to them that the nation is in trouble socially and economically. There is so much poverty amongst the people. The prices of goods and commodities are not affordable by many. Unemployment levels are at record highest. Pensions and salaries have been reduced by over 300%.

Despite the challenges Zimbabwe is facing, God has gifted Zimbabweans with a resilience that is associated with the name of their country- Zimbabwe. The people are living mostly by faith. Believing hope against hope. Few would claim that varume vari kurarama neraki vasingazive kuti pane anochengeta, Anoponesa murutsva. We continue to see Zimbabweans praying everywhere for divine intervention.

Now there is good news. God sent a man with a message of peace, prosperity, and posterity. All this becoming possible through humility and the fear of God in a partnership of Love. The journey started in 2016. The Angel of the covenant of prosperity has not left Zimbabwe. It is his presence that has restrained violence that erupted in August 2018 and in January of this year. God is jealously watching his sacred land. We see the world drifting into apostasy. There is lawlessness everywhere. We shall not talk of immorality, for the things happening are unspeakable. There is so much moral decadence that is beyond Sodom and Gomorrah.

It is at such a time that God is raising men and women of God who are called and ordained to deliver on the specific necessities of this dispensation. The political dispensation is ending, the democratic dispensation is winding up. Then comes the economic freedom dispensation. Ethiopia shall soon stretch her hands to the Lord. Africa restored identity. We seeing signs already in the skies even on God’s other bible, nature. Floods that hit Chimanimani are a voice of God. Now observe, how the disaster affected us and how the people set aside their differences and began to work together to serve and save humanity. It is a sign of what we ought to do to solve our problems.

Cyclone IDA was not the first to hit Zimbabwe this year. There was cyclone violence adding to cyclone poverty that hit the nation in September of 2017. The people of Zimbabwe who are spiritually minded do understand that we have entered into a period that we need each other the most than before, and more importantly, to stay close to the lion. The lion will be revealed in 2019. We need the king of the jungle to roar. The lion is already roaring and we must take heed of what is being spoken.

That God has given us a message of hope and a messenger of peace, prosperity and posterity ought to make us fear him. We are to be a people of great humility, respecting the messenger of the covenant of peace. We ought to stop all the blackmail, labeling, divisions, factions, hate, fear and be a united partnership of brothers and sisters. God commands a blessing where brothers and sisters dwell together in unity. That setting of affairs in an organization is a sweet fragrance that rises like incense to heaven. It makes our prayers acceptable. Partners are to revive the 4th days of the week and continue to pray for peace, love, and harmony.

Finally, in staying close to the lion, it is imperative, that we be not ignorant of the wiles of the devil. The thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Where a good seed is sown bad seeds are sown. It is not an easy task to weed out tares. Yes, the seed is not heir with the shuck, and the advice we got is _regayi zvikurirane_. Let us not have eyes that are quick to judge each other. Righteousness is obtained only from the Lord. We must strive to live in peace with all men and women. Wisdom is not seen in much talking. She is seen in the company of silent people. Our duty is to continue in prayer and speak words that exhort, edify and comfort the partnership. Let us come to the throne of grace with humility to obtain grace and mercy to help in time of need.
