Nguva is the latest single to come from the gifted Afro-fusion songstress Feli Nandi. It comes as her first single of the year and it’s a soulful song filled with emotion, that reflects on the importance of the time we have.
Teasing the single on her Instagram, Feli Nandi wrote, “As we are in the month of love, my wish is that we show each other love in abundance because we don’t have time.”
The song is characterised by a bit of push and pull, as Feli Nandi sings or speaks to us rather about the time we have being short while she also makes a plea to God for more time.

In the first verse she sings about all the things she hopes to see before her time is up. This is her children growing up and living a life fre of struggle. The vocal delivery is near perfect, and accompanied by the rich storytelling and calm instrumental, it makes for a beautiful song.
The production on Nguva is done by Alicious, who delivered a sound that greatly complimented Nandi’s voice. Nguva was also released with visuals directed by Simba Gee. The video is principally black and white, with intermittent bursts of colour. This matches the somber mood of the song while maintaining the feeling of hope.
