Dzoka Festival is calling the Zimbabwean diaspora back home. The homecoming festival is set to host its inaugural edition on 18 December, at Glamis Arena in Harare.
In a similar breadth to Ghana’s Detty December, the festival is positioning itself as a KeDezemba beacon for the country. The annual festival will kick off with platinum selling Afrobeats singer – Darkoo, amapiano royalty – DJ Maphorisa, the year’s outstanding 3-step trio – Jazzwrld, Thukuthela & GL Ceejay, award winning amapiano vocalist – Nkosazana Daughter, “Sengizwile” hitmaker – Mas Musiq and beloved Zim hip hop and Afropop artist – Saintfloew.
Alongside this star studded lineup will be Nisha Ts, Voltz JT, Jnr Spragga, King 98, and a selection of the country’s best DJs.
Tickets are going for $40 – General Admission, $100 – VIP and $150 VVIP. Cooler boxes are $10 before 4 pm, $20 from there on, and no cooler boxes will be allowed after 6 pm.
