Don Savania (born Dhyaan Kumar Savani), who collaborated with Mark Ngwazi in the song “The Same Again“, is set to release a new song entitled “Sungano“.
The song Sungano is a love song where marriage is taken as a covenant.
Savania, working with Simbarashe Ndungwa, mixes English, Hindu, and Shona to create a smooth Sungura flow in the song.
Anyone who dared listen to Savania’s role in the song The Same Again can tell the musician’s future in Sungura music.
Besides singing, Savania is also an actor and a model.
In modeling, Savania who is also signed to the Model Management International agency claimed the Most Talented model title in 2018 and was the 1st runner up for the Mr Zimbabwe title.
Within the film industry, Don managed to secure lead roles in movies and series such as State in M, 206 Bones, The lamb, Sunshine City as well as the series he is currently working on called Payback.
The plethora of film works he has partaken in have aided him in receiving awards, in 2020 he was awarded “best male actor” in Zimbabwe.
In contrast with the public perception that Savania is from India, the musician was actually born in Harare on 23 July 1991 and grew up in Rusape.
The upcoming singer got his primary education at Highveld Primary School and did a year at Peterhouse Boys only to progress to Hillcrest in Mutare.
