Bulawayo born actor and filmmaker Daniel Lasker has taken a major stride for his career by signing a deal for representation with Innovative Artists Entertainment.
The actor joins names such as Shanola Hampton, Melissa Joan Hart, Mel Rodriguez, Ayanna Floyd and Josh Macqueen at the talent and literary agency. Based in both Los Angeles and New York, Innovative Artists Entertainment has been in existence for over 4 decades. The agency has been described as having an unwavering commitment to client representation.

Lasker currently has a recurring role as Mr. 9, one of the villains in the Baroque Works criminal organization in season two of Netflix’s live-action adaptation of the expansive manga and anime series, “One Piece”.
The actor also stars in the upcoming indie feature London Calling as Barnabus, where he will appear opposite Josh Duhamel and Aidan Gillen.
He has featured in the HBO Max series “Raised by Wolves”, as well as “Noughts + Crosses” for BBC One, “Vagrant Queen” for Syfy, and “Abraham Lincoln” on the History Channel.
In 2022, his was behind the IsiNdebele sci-fi, “The Signal”.
