The song is taken from his Untold Stories EP he has in store for us, from which he will be dropping songs each and every coming week.
The song is about a guy who is in a relationship that has lost all purpose and finds himself asking his lady if there is anything worth waiting for. Over presents a soulful vibe for those relaxed moments we all get amidst all the chaos we face, rather perfect for meditating if you ask me
DaKid Verse asks the lady, “Bhebhi zvafa, Should I, stay, should I go?..”
This question happens to appear in most relationships as we know and he goes on to ask her a series of other questions, did they get answered though? She probably had a locked jaw trying to answer that entire bunch and apparently implying his position as the victim of whatever is happening between the two(Judging from the number of questions I don’t think he really wanted to stay in this relationship)
The production on this one was spot on from start to finish and vocals were blending well, however, there are some parts we think DaKid Verse could have polished up. The second verse had too many ad lips and fewer lyrics which might be not enough to please the lyric hungry listeners and gives off the sense that he really wanted to finish off the song quickly. But well, artistry has different styles, who am I to judge? We give the song a thumbs up for creative direction, he didn’t just sing to us but at the same time he sends out a clear message.
Will this effort make it to the radio charts? We’ll have to wait and see!
