#DailyDevotion: The Work Ethic Of A Believer

Proverbs 28:19 reads, “He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough.”

The Bible stands to give us revelations and profound insights pertaining to all things. I believe with all my heart that the Bible is the greatest textbook one could ever study for excellence in all things, be it Medicine, Accounting, Social Work and even Business. Jesus’s model of Ministry was a non-religious approach. In fact, when he was found at a young age preaching in the temple, he said, “did you not know that I would be about my Father’s BUSINESS…” The same Bible tells us in Deuteronomy 8:18, “…for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth…”

Beloved, do not be deceived, God is in the business of empowering his creation to make wealth! We are in a season of putting diligent hands to work and the Lord spoke to me clearly that you ought to find yourself doing something.

It is, therefore, my prayer for you today that as you till your land and labour in the strength of the Lord, may bread never depart from your house. I rise up in the Apostolic grace upon my life and prophesy divine favour upon the works of your hands.

From overlooked to overbooked.
