Proverbs 19:14 declares
“House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the LORD.”
Furthermore, Proverbs 18:22 reads,
“Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD.”
Proverbs 19 and verse 14, shows us that a prudent wife comes from God. This essentially means that a good wife is not the result of self-effort, but a gift from God. Now in Proverbs 18:22, the Bible then tells us “Who so FINDETH a wife…” This stands to reason that though God has given us many good gifts in Christ, He is looking for a go-getter to go out there and get it. It takes an enterprising individual to fully access the things of God.
The Bible tells us in Matthew 11:12,
“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.”
It is, therefore, my prayer for you today, that in this year of “my grace,” that you would rise up as a go-getter, to lay claim on all things that are reserved for you. You will not miss your blessing!!!
