Carpe Diem, Ngoma Nehosho’s one-of-a-kind DJ festival dedicated to house music, will be returning for it’s second edition on the 17th of May, 2025. Regarded as Harare’s biggest Afro house event, the festival has been a longtime coming, after initially being tabled for late last year.
Set to be hosted at First Capital Bank Sports, the festival will be headlined South African house music heavyweights Kabza De Small, Thakzin, Kelvin Momo.
Alongside those international acts will be some of the Zimbabwean DJs at the heart of the local house movement: Jay, Mimi, TAPIWA, DJ Sfiso, DJ Ash T and MadeHerBelieve.
Early bird tickets are now on sale (until May 9) for $30 General Access and $60 VIP, from Cafe Nush Avondale, Cafe Nush Borrowdale, Cafe Nush Highland Park and Techtools Gadget Garage Avondale.
The house music event made it’s debut last year in June, with 12 DJs delivering 12 uninterrupted hours of house music. It was hosted at Old Hararians Sports Club.
