Apple Music has unveiled it’s ‘100 Best Albums of All Time’ list and to say it’s controversial would be putting it lightly. According to Ebro, voters on Apple Music’s #100Best list were challenged to not vote for our favorites, but…

•Albums that represented a cultural moment for the artist or genre.

•Albums that were complete thoughts, not just collections of hit songs.

•Albums that thoroughly represent culture in production and lyrics.

•Albums that inspired a generation to want to create more music.

•Albums that represent the BEST in storytelling, musicianship, recording and production.

•Albums that are timeless and reached far beyond the genre categorization.

From Rock, to Hip Hop, RnB, Pop Music and Reggae. The #100Best list is diverse in terms of genres, but the selections don’t necessarily cut across continents.

Stevie Wonder, Beyonce, The Beatles, Radiohead and Prince are the only groups/artists with 2 albums listed but Dr Dre may have the most honours as he has an album listed and also 4 albums he produced.
