Today belongs to the strongest beings on earth, the women. In particular, we are celebrating African women. Women have been the cornerstone of every activity since time immemorial, from the economy, social structures and politics. This year’s International Women’s Day is being celebrated under the theme “Be Bold For Change”.

#ENTHUSE prides itself by being a a women-led organisation and it also celebrates African art and cultures. African women have been immortalised in all art forms since the stone age. From the wall paintings inside Egyptian pyramids to rock paintings inside caves down in Southern Africa. Therefore we decided to honour African women by compiling modern paintings that celebrate African Women. Drawn across Africa and abroad these paintings show how powerful and graceful women.
