After a 2024 that saw them absent from our festival calendar, the Zimbabwe International Film Festival (ZIFF) has officially announced the dates for its 2025 edition. Themed “African Renaissance,” the festival is set to take place from 29 April to 3 May 2025.
“African Renaissance” will see the platform celebrating African creativity, resilience, and cultural richness through film.
Submissions will open from the 1st of December 2024 until the 21st of February 2025.
Festival organisers encourage emerging and established filmmakers from across Africa and beyond to submit works that align with this year’s theme.
The festival will include a variety of events aimed at fostering engagement and dialogue within the filmmaking community. Highlights will include documentary, short & feature film screenings, panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities for industry professionals and enthusiasts alike.
