The Zimbabwean telecoms company; Econet recently launched what they’re titling the hub of African Music.
Buddie Beatz is a music streaming app with a pool of Zimbabwean music right at your thumbs.
The advent of a streaming hub/platform is a Hail Mary for squares like me, who struggle at keeping up with dope Zim Music.

If it’s not playing on the radio it’s the shady transaction at the corner of a busy downtown road as you load up on some pirated, virus-infested music on a flash drive because you can’t get Mugarden out of your head.

As a result, the Buddie Beatz App is not only good news for music lovers but Artists too.

The app is actually taking in music submissions for Econet’s four million subscribers. Artists can earn revenue based on downloads and listens. All genres are said to be welcome; from Zim dancehall, Afro-Fusion, Rhumba, Mbira, Sungura, to House and Gospel!

The Buddie Beatz is currently available for free download on the Google Playstore here.

For as little as $RTGS2.50 a month, you could get your groove on the Zimbo way.

PS: If you’re an artist interested in being immortalized on the library, you can sign up here.
