Eddie The Eagle Screens Today At EU Film Festival

Do people belittle you sometimes? Are you made to think that you are not capable to follow your dreams, dream big and believe in yourself? Then Eddie The Eagle showing today at the European Film Festival might just be the cure for you.

Directed by Dexter Fletcher, this feel-good story  chronicling the life of Michael “Eddie” Edwards (played by the talented Taron Egerton). Eddie is British a ski-jumper who made against all odds and put on an impressive performance at the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics.  He partners with a rebellious and rebellious coach (played by Hugh Jackman), who leads him down a path self-belief and thwarting stereotypes.

Come and enjoy this story of an underdog with a never-say-die attitude. The EU Film Festival is currently running at the Theatre in the Park in Harare. Eddie the Eagle will be screening at 1800hrs. Don’t miss this chance to share the pie of inspiration.
