The European Union has announced a EU Film Festival which will run from the 16th to the 20th of May at the Theatre in The Park, Harare Gardens. This follows hot in the heels of the recently concluded HIFA week which was received a lukewarm response from festival goers.
This Film Festival is going to feature productions from 11 European countries and will be a melting pot of cultures. The films will span for an incredible 1000 hours! It is the first of its kind and its sure set to wow the audience. The European Union has been involved in numerous arts development initiatives in Zimbabwe and this festival might be an eye opener for the local film sector.
