The Fourth annual edition of the philanthropic #TwimbosGivingHope Concert makes its major return tonight at the Roof Travel Plaza and many people are looking forward to an evening of great music performances in Harare.

A selection of the country’s best youth urban acts are set to perform at the event, with proceeds going to Kasipiti Children’s Home. Among them are the prolific Sharky, Chengeto Brown, Kikky, Mussa Effect, juggernaut rhymesayer  Meyniak, Veryus (powerhouse that inhabits Mile, Marcqus, uBu, Verseless, Rue and Fluid), King Avry, Dj Slick Vic, Zviro Beast and Mystery.

Much of a late entry, Few Kings’ TEHN, who previously went by the name Tehn Diamond, is said to have confirmed that he will also be live in concert.

The 2017 edition will be hosted by none other than the incredible podcasting  duo from  Sadza In The Am Pod Nikki Titan and King Kandoro. Confirming the news, the duo’s posted on their twitter wall;

It is important to see what some of our favorite artists are doing on and off the stage, especially when it is in such a positive light. With music all around us, it seems only natural to use people’s love of music to do a little good.

The #TwimbosGivingHope project, was launched in December, 2014. Shingi Mangoma, a songtress and a member of TGH, speaking on it the year it was launched said that the initiative was “a voluntary charity association/group primarily based on our social media platform, Twitter.’

This project came about after one Twimbo (name given to Zimbabweans on twitter), Winston Manjengwa, (@AmBlujay) tweeted that Twimbos should adopt a charity for the festive season. This initiative is a positive project that is geared towards bringing the community closer together and helping out the less fortunate within Zimbabwe, especially in children homes.

This year’s #TwimbosGivingHope concert is made possible through collaboration between the organization, PPC, Carex, Sadza In The Morning, On The Roof and Hallelujah Mag.

We cannot wait to see all of these performers doing what they know best tonight. Admisssion to the concert is $5 only.

We will be there. Don’t miss out!
