The first man does not need introduction; he is one of the richest men in Zimbabwe and had appeared as the richest man in Forbes ranking of Africa. Strive Masiyiwa is the chairperson and founder of the global communication group Econet wireless worth more than $600 million. He is also a leading businessperson in insurance, renewable energy, financial services, safari lodges, renewable energy and hotel. His telecommunication group works in Africa, South America and East Asia Pacific Rim. Strive Masiyiwa’s net worth is US$829 million.
This next person proves success has no age, his name is Takudzwa Razemba and he is his 20s. He is the founder of Orbz Corporation, Hainz Group and Holden International. He kicked off his career by creating websites in the comfort of his small apartment and his net worth is US$785 million. The companies in his name have market capitalization of more than US$82 billion. His estates are on three stock exchanges namely FTSE, JSE and NYSE. He is building momentum and a good person for the youngsters for inspiration.
Philip Chiyangwa is a politician and an entrepreneur and the richest on for that fact. He is the founder of the Affirmative Action Group and the proprietor of the Native Africa Investments Ltd. His company has been involved in a few high-profile takeovers, the most famous being G&D Shoes which he tried, with success to save from liquidation. His money amounts to US$288 Million.
Shingai Mutasa is a graduate in economics and has done it from the University of London. He started his professional life in the commodity trading and he marketed his family business. This landed him as one the five richest people of Zimbabwe since he is good at acquisition. The graduate from University of London currently has TA Holdings that is on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange and marketing assets of BP refined oil. His net worth is US$142 Million.
Representing the girls, Divine Ndhlukula is a director of DDNS Security Operations. Ndhlukula started Securio in 1999 at her house. She started up with only four employees and now the company runs more than 3500 employees. Divine is the brains behind the US$13 million worth company to which she become the country’s most respectable player in the security Industry. Securio is certified making her the first to be certified under IS09001:2008.
