Icytat, Tawanda Takure is an upcoming House music DJ and producer of interest, making music from Deep House to Electronic Dance Music (EDM). Icytat broke onto the local scene in 2013 with his popular but unofficial remix of John Legend’s All of me.
In 2009, his professional journey had begun from Durban, South Africa; playing at a number of local establishments and events. There he worked with various international House music artists and a few regional ones including Sahffi (USA), Dj Qness (South Africa) and SuCH (USA).
To date, his work with United States based artist SuCh has been nominated in the All Africa Music Awards under the Best Artiste/Duo/Collaboration in African Electro category for SuCh- You (Icytat Vocal mix).
