The Campaign Book Sale Launches Project For Charles Mungoshi’s Medical Bills

The Campaign Book Sale, a Mobile Book Shop that seeks to assist Zimbabwean Authors with notable works contribute a lot in the nation and have been faced with the challenges of the Zimbabwean economic situation. The initiative’s first project is in a bid to raise the legendary wordsmith Dr. Charles Mungoshi’s staggering Medical costs. The Campaign’s aim is to sell 1,000 copies of Dr. Charles Mungoshi’s latest offering, titled ‘Branching Streams Flow In The Dark’. According to their press announcement the normal cost of the book is $23.00 but will be sold at $13.00 for The Campaign sale.
Dr. Charles Mungoshi fell into a coma in 2010 for two months. Unable to walk or talk he was diagnosed with Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus and underwent a surgical process to rid the excess fluid in his brain, leading to his gradual improvement. Due to a complication in his last surgery his health has since been deteriorating. Due to the costs of local Healthcare the Mungoshi family has made plans to have the great writer attended to in India.
