Caps United's CAF Champions League Campaign Under Threat Due To Injuries

Caps United is yet to release its first team to play against Al Ahly Tripoli for the CAF Champions League amid queries on the recovery from injury of some of its key players.

The Caps United assistant coach Toastao Kwashi was not specific about the players that are going to play tomorrow against the Libyan team.
“Basically I can’t give you much on the names right now but maybe tomorrow morning.” said Kwashi.
“Yes they are set backs… but the set backs are for someone to shine” Kwashi said during the press conference that has been held today at the National Sports Stadium.
Last Sunday Lloyd Chitembwe the Caps United coach blamed the injuries for his one all draw against Triangle.
“When you make six changes, definitely it affects the rhythm of the game” said Chitembwe to the Chronicle.
Meawhile  Dennis Dauda one of the Caps United key players has already been ruled out of tomorrow’s match due to injury according to Kwashi.
Tafadzwa Rusike, Devon Chafa, Ronald Chitiyo, Valentine Musarurwa and Hardlife Zvirekwi could not play against Triangle due to injuries.
Recently the goalkeepers Edmore Sibanda and his deputy Jorum Muchambo were on nursery due to ankle injuries according to the Herald.
Caps United is in Group B in the CAF Champions league with Zamalek, USM ALger and Ahli Tripoli.
The Harare based football club is currently second in the group with Zamalek leading. USM Algers is the third and Ahli Tripoli, which faces Caps United, is the last.
