Definitely a moving sound that motivates even a non-house listener to dance along to the sound. So good that placing the origin of this production is quite hard. Surprisingly this is a project of two very talented producers from the City of Kings (Bulawayo), Dj Rayz noChris.

The entire fabric was put together spectacularly especially the Guitar sound gets you going from the very start of the song without hesitation to draw all the dancers to the dance floor. Quite a potential victim of replay if you ask me and it definitely sounds like it will have a lengthy life span in our playlist.

Talking about the entrance to the song, in the house genre, tracks usually warm us up before getting us to the fun, interesting and break-a-sweat part(the chorus). However Jika takes a spin in the opposite direction to get us in the vibe from the moment you select and press play. We think other house cats should try take a page in Dj Rayz noChris book on how to marinate house into the general public.

We mostly enjoyed the fact that Jika possesses both powerful  lyrical meaning and a groovy vibe to get your body moving which is a rare combination in the house genre  considering the fact that house is perceived as a “beat only counts” genre by most listeners. However they have out done themselves in comparison to their last project they presented to us last year and we are proud to acknowledge growth in their brand is visible.

One of the track’s highlights is the female “Yebo!” backing vocal that appear between 01:58 and 02:35, which gets you in a trance to hit the Gwara Gwara“.

Frankly ,the only downside to this offering is the sudden ending which leaves you hanging/craving for more!
