#ENTHUSE prides itself as a digital platform that celebrates and highlights the exploits and successes of African Creatives. To that effect we acknowledge the continued bias regarding the freedom of online expression for members of the young African Lesbian, Gay, Transgender & Bi-Sexual Communities and by doing so launch the Column and subsidiary titled ‘Queer Fro’ a showcase of LGBT African experiences, Opinions, News and Creative Expression. Our hope is that by demystifying African LGBT experiences we can humanize the community that is repeatedly subjected to continuous stigma and stereotyping. We’re glad to say Contributions have been pouring in from across the continent, proof that without a doubt they are countless of voices and thoughts in need of airing. Our first Visual showcase will come from Jordan Indigo Isaac based in Botswana, his contribution challenges Societal ideals of masculinity and can be found on the website as of Thursday 23 Feb 2017.
