He has been called a Stunner imitator. Some have questioned his authenticity as a Christian rapper, but it seems Mudiwa Hood does not let any of that faze him at all. 2016 was not favourable to him and most of the incidents were directly or indirectly linked to awards ceremonies.
From collecting Trevor Dongo’s award and getting backlash in the form of a Facebook post, to ‘dropping’ Jah Prayzah’s awards at the Style Oracle Fashion Awards. He also took an ‘L’ when he took to Facebook to rant about how he should have won an award that Stunner won, at the same award ceremony. Piece of advice Mudiwa, stop this business of ‘helping’ other artist by collecting their awards. It always turns out badly!
However all that seems to not have slowed down Mudiwa who just dropped a teaser of his new video Slayin’. This video will feature a very good looking lady and sleek cars! As controversial as all this may sound and look for a Christian rapper, MTV Base South has already picked on this and tweeted,

We will not make any assumptions about how Mudiwa handles himself or his creative process, but we have one question though. Does sex and money in any way bring out the values of Christianity?
In as much as this video will stir up an already overflowing pot, Andy Cutta seems to have pulled all the stops in ensuring quality all the way. Its good for the music industry to start the year on a high note.
