A few weeks ago comedian and celebrity chef Carl Joshua Ncube launched a new cookbook titled “Chikafu”. The book explores Zimbabwean cuisine in a unique and fun way that is unique to Carl himself. The book is said to feature 100 food recipes and 25 recipes for cocktails. The book is available exclusively as an ebook on web platforms and directly from Carl.
“The book was done to make cooking for groups easier. It’s also a celebration of ingredients easily found in Zimbabwe. I looked at the past of Zimbabwean food, some present ways of cooking and also the future of where I see our cuisine going. It’s broken up into vegetarian dishes, meat dishes and cocktails.”
