Yemi Alade Joins The Voice Nigeria

Yemi Alade keeps on rising and in her latest stride in stardom, she has been named as a new judge of The Voice Nigeria. Alade joins the trio of Timi Dakolo, Patoranking and Waje.

She will serve as a coach that critiques the contestants’ performances and guide teams of selected artists through the remainder of the season while also competing to ensure that their act wins the reality TV Show.  Yemi is replacing 2Face who has left to pursue oher commitments.

The Director of Mnet West Africa, Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu, spoke on the addition of Ywmi on the Panel saying, “Yemi Alade is widely recognised as one of Nigeria’s biggest musical exports with incredible appeal across the continent and in other international markets. Not only is she an amazing vocalist, Yemi is also recognised for her energetic and entertaining performances on stage. We are thrilled to have her join The Voice and we cannot wait for the contestants and our viewers to experience her on the show.”

The Voice Nigeria started in 2010 and has amassed viewers from the countries like Australia, USA and England. Auditions for the show have already been conducted across Nigeria and all that’s left is for the show to it the screens again
