Phil Chard Named to African Founders Conglomerate’s 100 Most Inspiring African Entrepreneurs List

In honour of this year’s Africa Day, the social entreprise African Founders Conglomerate put together a list of the 100 Most Inspiring Male African Entrepreneurs. Announced in mid May, the entrepreneurs list has been revealed 10 names at a time. This has been done each week, in posts on African Founders Conglomerate’s Instagram page.

Featured among the names so far revealed is Zimbabwean entrepreneur, Phil Chard. He is among some of the continents most widely known business founders, creatives and personalities. The list features respected entrepreneurs such as Theo Baloyi (Founder of Bathu sneakers), Timi Adeyeba, Mathew Mensah,  Wode Maya, Freedom Jacob Caesar, Summy Francis, Idris Sultan and many more.

The African Founders Conglomerate was established in 2021 and is based in Accra, Ghana. It describes itself as a social enterprise founded to further the development of Africa and other disadvantaged countries throughout the world through storytelling, recognition, and advocacy.

Phil Chard is the managing director of Point Black Africa. A dynamic agency that was founded in 2014 and works with a diverse range of clients, from individuals to multinational franchises such as Pizza Hut, Old Mutual, and MultiChoice. The operations of Point Black Africa encompass digital marketing and media, corporate communications, public relations management, multimedia, and entertainment.

I am truly humbled and surprised to be considered for such a prestigious accolade alongside some incredibly respected names across such a wide spectrum of industries.
