In response to the wild outbreak of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), ZAOGA Forward In Faith Ministries leader Archbishop Ezekiel Guti issued an exhortation letter to his followers worldwide on Friday, encouraging them to remain resolute and trust in God in the face of the pandemic.

The letter reads:

“Grace and peace from our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.

With reference to what is happening in the world today, we don’t have to be afraid. During this year’s ten days of prayer and fasting, we prayed to God to protect us during the year. I want to say to all members of ZAOGA Forward In Faith International, do not be afraid. As I have already told you in the ten days letter, that the year 2020 is different from all the other years. We need to be strong as never before, because there are many things in that I cannot be able to explain except that I encourage everyone to make sure that your relationship with God is right.

We have prayed in the ten days and that is the most important prayer of the year. There is nothing new that the Lord has not warned us. Do not fear what is happening. Obey what you are told to do by your government because that is right. Above all, I urge you to spend more time reading the word of God and developing a personal relationship with Him. Finally, I say again FEAR NOT, TRUST IN THE LORD. TRUST THE LORD.

God bless you and strengthen you. “

By Saturday, COVID-19 has infected 1,093,349 and taken away 58,620 lives in 209 countries, according to a World Health Organisation report.
