While we were still reeling from his latest single Kuraone, the Hello crooner was busy becoming a San Marino, London, UK’s 1 in 360 Finalist as part of the Eurovision Competition earlier this year thanks to his performance of ‘Free Yourself’.
The track was a collaborative effort; written by Austrian Eurovision 2016 Grand finalist Zoe Straub, German Guitarist Chris Straub and Tinashe Makura and is a groovy mixture light happy melodies.
Lyrically-sing-along, the song gives you a chance to enjoy the flow without bombarding you with intense words. I can totally happily do my laundry, unapologetically quit my job, do the hula by a sandy beach in no particular order to the instruction and soundtrack of this particular song; in essence, freeing myself!
Although I must admit I enjoyed his Live version a tad bit more, Free Yourself is catchy, feel good and signature Tinashe Makura with a slight reggae-tropical rhythm.
Have a watch and have your say, what do you think?
