International British Soul star Joss Stone, will headline the Ngoma Ne Hosho Live Sessions on 2 June at 7Arts Theatre in Harare, Zimbabwe. Yes, you read right!  The 5th edition of “Ngoma NeHosho Live Sessions” headlined by Grammy Award winning UK soul singer Joss Stone.
This one night only performance, is part of Joss Stone’s amazing “Total World Tour”, in which she is going for a record of trying to perform in every country on the planet. So far Joss Stone has performed and collaborated in Tanzania, Malawi and Angola. Stone will be supported by the cream of the crop of female Zimbabwean musical talent – Ammara Brown, Tamy Moyo and Gemma Griffiths.

Her support acts are known for delivering amazing audience experiences: Ammara Brown’s star is rising at home and internationally with several grand performances at home and abroad topped of by the success of the song ‘Mukoko’ a collaboration with Tytan and ‘Bhachura’ in collaboration with EQ, videos of which have both exceeded a million views on YouTube.
Gemma Griffiths has endeared herself with audiences on the festival circuit with her original singer-songwriter style as with renditions of popular songs by local stars such as WinkyD that have gone viral online.

Tamy Moyo has recently emerged as the youngest rising star in Zimbabwe and this will be a yet another chance for her to shine in an international context having done exceptionally well on her appearances at HIFA and at the Dispatch Zimbabwe concert at Madison Square garden in the USA.

Since inception in 2014, Ngoma NeHosho Live Sessions have grown from strength to strength with previous editions hosting South African Legend Bra Hugh Masekela, local legend Oliver Mtukudzi , Victor Kunonga, Alexio Kawara, Tariro NeGitare and Mokoomba to mention a few.
